EXPERIENCE THE Emira
The Emira is the last in a long and venerable pedigree of gas-powered sports cars from Lotus, before the esteemed British company makes a final switch to a completely electric future. But this sleek and powerful two-seater bids the internal combustion engine farewell in impressive style, offering huge performance married to superior handling and upscale comfort. The engine of choice is a 3.5L supercharged V6 model making 400 horsepower and 317lb-ft of torque, fed to rear-wheel drive through either a torque converter automatic transmission or a hands-on six-speed manual. All this adds up to class-leading acceleration and effortless straight-line speeds.
FEATURES TO EXPLORE
This most modern of Lotus gas cars boasts a generous amount of technology inside the cabin. The 12.3" digital gauge cluster perched behind the steering wheel reports on g-forces, tire pressures, lap times, and more. Infotainment is handled through a large 10.25" touchscreen in the middle of the dash, backed up by steering wheel controls and voice recognition, with smartphone compatibility provided by Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. And unusually for a sports car in this class, there's also a wide range of driver assist technologies available, with options including automatic collision avoidance, lane departure warnings, and rear cross-traffic alerts.
